Somatic Therapy is grounded in the understanding that healing happens through the body as much as through the mind. Using the lens of Polyvagal Theory, we work with your nervous system — not against it — to help you find safety, connection, and calm from the inside out.

  • Focuses on:

Building awareness of your body’s cues and learning how to regulate your nervous system in real time. We explore how your body responds to stress, safety, and connection — and develop practices that support balance and resilience.

  • Helpful for:

People who live in “go mode,” feel stuck in anxiety or shutdown, or have trouble relaxing even when life is “fine.” It’s especially supportive for trauma, burnout, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm.

  • How it works:

Through breathwork, grounding, gentle movement, and awareness practices, we help your nervous system learn what calm and safety feel like again. Instead of talking about stress, we work with the body to shift it.

  • What to expect in a somatic session:

In sessions, we move at your nervous system’s pace — noticing sensations, impulses, and patterns of activation and rest. You’ll learn to recognize your body’s signals, support your own regulation, and expand your capacity for calm, connection, and choice. Over time, your system learns that safety isn’t something you have to think your way into — it’s something you can feel.
